EarlyON Child and Family Centers
EarlyON Muskoka currently offers indoor, outdoor and virtual programs in a variety of settings all across Muskoka. Baby Talk and Parent Education nights are offered virtually for connection and exploration. Families must register in advance for virtual programs.
Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program
HBHC provides home visiting services to eligible pregnant individuals and families with children from birth up to their transition to school, who may benefit from additional support. PHNs and FHVs visit with families to provide information and support, build family strengths, address, and minimize risk factors that can impact healthy growth and development, and to connect families with other community programs. Client consent to participate in the program is required as participation in HBHC is voluntary.
Speech and Language Development
Speech and language development impacts how your child plays, communicates and interacts within daily routines and activities. You can help your children communicate by using a variety of strategies to build their speech and language skills, such as being face to face, pausing and waiting for your child to communicate, following your child’s cues and interests, commenting, taking turns, and more.
